I know you commented two months ago, but I wanted to thank you for posting about Hjorth. I had never heard of the book, or the author, but immediately looked it up after seeing your comment. I just read it (finished like two minutes ago) and damn, what a book. Thank you for posting it!
this was excellent, thank you for several new recommendations. i love seeing what you're reading always!plus you always have the correct opinions. also this is so real — "I always think these recaps will take me less time than they actually end up taking." HELP !!!
I love seeing what you’ve been reading! I haven’t read much Spark, but based on your write-up, I’d recommend LOITERING WITH INTENT in which a writer character goes on occasional tangents about how books should never moralize and how characters cannot be good or bad because they’re just marks on paper. Seems like there could be an interesting connection there!
These are my faves! So many new books for my never ending TBR. I picked up “Repetition” by Vigdis Hjorth yesterday and excited to dig in!

I love this! I shall be riding this high all week long! If you haven’t read “Long Live the Post Horn,” you should!

ooo, this is so awesome. I haven’t read several of these. Going to place holds on Libby now!
Love your reading wrap-ups.
Totally agree with your Wharton-CBK point.
