I am reading this right now, in my home, in Vermont and am wearing a sweater, dress, and Birkenstocks and I realized that's just something I do and honestly have never thought about before.
I’ve put Springtime In A Broken Mirror on hold at the library (no long queue, a miracle) and I’m really looking forward to reading it. I grew up on the Bay of Fundy but have lived in a land-locked place for most of my adult life. Every single time I travel to spend time by any sea, I have the realization that I do not, in fact, hate everything, I just needed the ocean.
Fellow blackout survivor here (Clara, I didn't know you lived in Spain!) and I was very lucky to have a blissful day of reading in the couch with my partner. No reading lights though, so once the sunlight was gone, so was the reading; this reminds me that I should probably get one in the near future.
OMG what a pleasure and delight to be included Clara. Thank you! And also, it took EVERY LAST DROP of creativity and skill to create that collage in Canva (using a template) so I am truly humbled by your praise. And I can relate to your love of the sea on a deep level, it is truly healing.
